Latigo Ranch is a premier Colorado guest ranch. We are secluded and scenic: located at 9000' above sea level in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, as well as family owned and operated.
We operate as a Dude Ranch vacation in the summer and a Nordic Ski Lodge in the winter.
Guests of any season can enjoy personalized care, a friendly atmosphere, and five--star food.
Latigo Ranch was originally homesteaded by a man named F. J. Kasdorf. He moved to Kremmling by covered wagon in 1923 with his wife, Eva and infant daughter after refusing the commission as a lieutenant at the end of WWI. From there, he built up and ran the Snowshoe Dude Ranch for nearly 20 years. He built the main lodge single-handedly, save a bit of help in hauling lumber. After switching hands down through the years, Latigo was bought by Randy and Lisa George with Jim and Kathie Yost in 1987. these families and ran it together for 29 years before Jim and Kathie chose to retire. The Georges bought them out at the end of 2016, and their growing family intends to continue running the ranch for many years to come.
From Kremmling, go 6 miles north on Hwy 40, turn west on Hwy 134, to CR 19 (not 17), follow signs 7 miles to the ranch! GPS may lead you up CR 17.
